Frère Lune et Sœur Soleil is a 15 minutes film about my Korean heritage.
It is a documentation of my physical reconnection with this part of my identity, a modern version of a classic Korean tale, and a hommage to my late grandmother.
Read in the film by my great-aunt, the Korean tale follows two kids who, chased by a tiger, end up becoming the Sun and the Moon.
While the main body of the tale is illustrated by footage I captured in Seoul and Busan, the later part of the film is a contemporary approach of the tale’s outcome: how to translate the mutation of human-beings into the Sun and the Moon through
